What Is Considered Vehicle Maintenance?

• Oil and Filter Changes

Changing your oil regularly keeps your engine running well. Dirty oil can cause engine damage over time. Most cars need an oil change every 3,000 to 5,000 miles, or as recommended by the manufacturer. We offer different oil change options based on your engine type.

• Fluid Levels

Fluids like coolant, brake, power steering, transmission, and windshield washer fluid help your car run smoothly. It’s important to check these regularly and top them off to avoid problems.

• Battery Health

Your car’s battery powers the engine and electrical systems. If your battery is more than 3 years old or showing signs of wear, it may need replacing to prevent breakdowns.

• Tire Maintenance

Regular tire maintenance helps keep your car safe on the road. We check tire pressure and inflate tires to the manufacturer’s recommended levels. Tire rotations should be done every 5,000 to 7,500 miles to ensure even wear and longer tire life. Please note, we offer tire rotations but do not mount, repair, or sell tires.

• Brake System

Your brakes are key to staying safe. Check the condition of brake pads, rotors, and brake fluid regularly. If you hear squealing or grinding when braking, bring your car in right away. Keeping your brakes in good shape helps you stop quickly and safely.

• Lights and Signals

Good lighting is important for safety. Check all your car’s lights regularly, including headlights, brake lights, tail lights, and turn signals. Replace any bulbs that are out to keep your vehicle visible.

• Wiper Blades

Clear visibility is essential, especially in bad weather. Replace wiper blades every six months or whenever you notice streaking or smearing on your windshield.

• Belts and Hoses

Belts and hoses are important for the engine to work properly. Check them regularly for signs of wear or cracks. The serpentine belt, which drives many engine parts, should be replaced if it shows damage.

• Air Filter

A clean air filter helps your engine breathe better and improves fuel efficiency. Replace it every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, or more often if you drive in dusty areas.

• Suspension and Steering

Your car’s suspension and steering systems keep you safe and comfortable. Have these checked for wear and tear, including shocks, struts, and steering parts. Proper alignment helps your car handle well and extends tire life.

• Pre-Trip Inspection

Before a long trip, inspect your car to make sure it’s ready for the road. Check your tires, fluid levels, brakes, battery, and lights. Follow your vehicle owner’s manual for specific pre-trip checks. Scheduling a consultation can give you peace of mind before you hit the road.
